SACRAMENTO, CA. - With coach Steve Edwards at the helm and pitcher J.P. McKeever throwing at the plate, Arden Little League's major All Stars advanced to the third round in post-season play, beating Whitney Avenue 2-1 Monday night in Citrus Heights.

Whitney will play Eastern Tuesday morning in the double elimination play, after beating them last week. The winner of Tuesday's game will face Arden on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Northridge.
